User Defined Records
A User Defined is a Timeline entry that is defined by your practice. For example, a practice may require all diabetic patients to complete a diabetic profile questionnaire. The questions and possible responses are pre-recorded in a User Defined record; thereby, the user (the administrator) determines what is to be included in the User Defined Timeline entry.
In addition to field types such as text, numeric, and date, you can also define computed fields. Computed fields are assigned values that are dependent on other field values. For example, if you have a weight field and a height field, you can define a computed field to function as a body mass index (calculated as weight field divided by the height field). When a TCC user enters the weight and height, the body mass index will be computed automatically.

Anything that you need to track on behalf of your patients (or any other Contact in the Team Chart Concept) can be done using User Defined Fields and Records.
There is no limit to the number of User Defined Fields and Records you can create and no limit to what you can do. |

Each time a User Defined Timeline record is generated, it is stored in the main TCC Timeline and in the patient Timeline as a User Defined Timeline entry. You can find, view, and edit all User Defined Records in the patient Timeline or main TCC Timeline in the same manner as any standard Timeline entry. Not only can you define and track your own types of information, but you can also run customized Reports on this information.
